Happy Father's Day babe!!! I was lucky - I grew up with a wonderful, fun, involved dad and I always knew how important it was to me that my children have that same experience. I can honestly say that I had a WONDERFUL childhood. My dad worked hard for us to have everything we needed and most of what we wanted and I can say without a shred of doubt that we were number 1 to him and that he loved us more than life itself. God has blessed Kendal with that same kind of dad and I couldn't be more grateful. Not only does he love her to the ends of the earth but he is there every step of the way making my life as a mom easier. I mean really... Friday before we left for the wedding Cass told me that for Father's Day he wanted to "get" to take care of Kendal all weekend. Most people I know would be asking for a break - but not Cass. Every morning he gets everything ready for Kendal's day and every night he washes all of the bottles, gets her bottles ready the next day, does laundry, brings me everything I need while I'm sitting on the couch feeding her ;) ! The list could go on and on of the things he does for us. Seriously....How did I get so lucky!? Thank you so much babe. Kendal and I are so blessed to have you as her dad. I love you more than you could ever know!
And here's my baby and her daddy on their first Father's day!
Meredith's Wedding:
We spent the weekend with my family in Hot Springs for Meredith's wedding. It was hot but we had a wonderful time and the wedding was BEAUTIFUL! I didn't take too many pictures but here are a few that I took and a few that I stole from other people's facebook!
Poor Clunkers wanted to go too!
Hey! You stole my hat dad!
Getting ready for the wedding!
The beautiful couple! Congratulations Meredith & Cody!
I really wish I'd taken more pictures - the details were amazing!
haha! Look at Mason, all grown up and handsome - this makes me feel really old!
Gorgeous Allison!
Mr & Mrs Stanton!
Yeah, we ended up having to be "those" people with the naked baby. Her poor face was bright red and she was so sweaty!
I was pretty sweaty myself. Yuk. This is a bad picture but I hate them all so oh well! :)
The next morning we had coffee on the front porch at the Arlington - Kendal got cozy with Gigi.
Happy Father's Day my love! And Congratulations Cody & Meredith - love you both!
Great post. Love the photos and what lovely things you have to say about my brother. I'm so happy he has you and Kendal. He is truly blessed, as are we, to have you and that precious baby girl in our lives!
