The Keys...: Long, long weekend!

We had a very, very long weekend at our house! Last Tuesday when picked Kendal up from daycare the girls told me that her nose had been runny all day. :( I took her temperature when we got home and it was fine. About an hour later I thought she felt a little warm and took it again; this time it was up to 101.9. From that point forward - it was a LONG weekend. Her fever was up and down over the next three days, sometimes getting as high as 104, then we'd give her more Tylenol and it would drop down closer to 100. Poor baby did not feel good. Saturday morning she woke up being her happy self. I, however, caught the bug. I felt AWFUL but most of all I was so sad knowing how bad she felt! Even my fever got up to 103.8, I can't remember the last time I felt that bad. Luckily its Monday and I feel almost back to normal and Kendal seems to be feeling great! Even though I was sick we did her 8 month photos. I think we're going to the pumpkin patch next weekend so yesterday was the best time to squeeze it in. She'll be 8 months old tomorrow, can you believe it!? Although between the two of us we've spent the last 5 days sick, she did A LOT of new exciting things.... Now when you walk up to her she'll put her arms up for you to pick her up. When she puts her arms up and says "mama" I want to melt. ugh. She also is clapping now! When you clap at her she'll start clapping too! So cute!! And the most exciting new thing is... she's crawling!!! yep, crawling!

So, Thursday October 4th was her first day to "officially" crawl. Now our whole world has flipped upside down! Ever since we've had her our house has been messier than it used to be... now it looks like we've been hit by a baby tornado. She overturns every basket she can find and pulls everything out, then moves on to the next thing! And she's having a good time chasing clunkers around!

Ok, I know these aren't exactly my "best" work but since it's cold and we have to shoot inside and I'm using blankets and furniture to build a makeshift studio... this is about as good as they're going to get! All that really matters to me is that we have pictures to show how much she's changed!
